Many girls in rural schools miss or drop out of school because of menstruation. This leads to a high increase in teenage pregnancies and consequently child marriage as girls try to find means to get sanitary pads from men. Our project helps to break the stigma that surrounds menstruation as we empower the girls to realise their full potential.
